Augustine Akhimien, DLS; B.Sc., is a seasoned professional Librarian with work experience spanning over two decades.  He obtained a Diploma in library science form the Delta State University in Nigeria in 1996.  In 1999, he returned to the same University to pursue a degree program.  In 2004, he obtained a B.Sc. in Library science form the said university.  He was a Higher Library Officer in the Edo State Library Board. Presently, he is the Chief Librarian in the Ministry of Justice of Edo State of Nigeria.

He is an experienced law librarian and has attended several training programs and workshops to improve his skills.  He is computer literate.
